About Studio Zef

Studio Zef was founded in 2023 by designer Grace Franks while on maternity leave, and named after her daughter, Zephyr.

What began as a handmade lampshade studio has naturally evolved into an interior design practice rooted in colour, craftsmanship and thoughtful living.

With a background in interiors and retail, Grace creates warm, characterful spaces that balance personality with practicality — from one-room redesigns to full home projects.

Alongside interior design services, Studio Zef continues to create hand-printed lampshades from its Cotswolds studio, combining artisanal techniques with contemporary design to bring warmth and individuality into the home.

Every project is guided by a love of layered interiors, timeless style and beautifully considered spaces.
